Editing math should be as easy as editing an essay in Word instead of by hand, with Natural Math Editor it is. No layout language to learn. In Natural Math Editor, equations and text live together as equals, so you can write up an entire derivation, assignment, or set of notes in one place, and revise it just as easily. Natural Math Editor is more than a tool for inserting math into text: it's a tool for authoring math documents, built for everyone who writes math: students, educators, researchers, and institutions. Natural Math Editor finally brings writing math fully into the digital age. Lots of tools let you stick one equation in a forum post or document. These are made to share math you've already figured out. Our editor is for writing math, whether it's a single equation or an entire homework set. With Math I Can Do, there are no extra steps: solve the math and get it ready to share at the same time!
Equation editors are slow and hard to use. Who wants the bother? That's why we worked with usability experts to redesign writing math from the ground up. Take a few minutes to learn the basics and you'll be writing math twice as fast as with pencil and paper.
The most common errors students make aren't math-related at all, but misreading their own handwriting or making copying errors going from one line to the next. With our textbook-quality output, messy work is a thing of the past! Plus, our unique math-aware editing tools make common tasks like starting the next step of a problem a snap, with no copying required! We're working hard to bring even more error-proofing tools to upcoming versions.
With Natural Math Editor, you can use screen sharing to do math together in real time. Whether it is virtual office hours with your professor, homework help from a friend, a distance enrichment course, or a professional tutoring service, our editor is the perfect medium for collaborative math from anywhere.
Write your math once, then send it anywhere. Export to LaTeX or Microsoft Word for documents and submissions, PDF for universal sharing, MathML for accessible web content, or SVG, PNG, and JPEG for images. Python / SymPy and expanded desktop exports are on the way. Subscribe now and get each new format the day it launches.
The WYSIWYG math editor built for keyboard speed. No code required.

Our logo was inspired by a geometric proof by rearrangement of the Pythagorean theorem. That's the theorem that in a right-angled triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sums of the squares of the other two sides. (The hypotenuse is the side opposite of the right angle.)
